Ksar Hedada, is a town in southeastern Tunisia, where the rounded domes of the roofs and the buttresses with flying buttresses that support the walls, typical of Berber architecture, served as the filming location for Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace , as well as as the scene of the slave quarter of Mos Espa, the mythical town of Anakin Skywalker, the future Darth Vader, in the movie The Phantom Menace.

The Sahara is only fifty kilometers away

The village has a kindergarten and a primary school, as well as great places to visit such as two cafes, a library, a football stadium, and a dozen shops.
