This National Park is found halfway between the Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater; in northern Tanzania, in the Arusha Region.
The Lake Manyara National Park is characterized by having different habitats, which achieves a great variety of fauna and flora in a small semi-arid area, where you can see underground water forests, swamps, reed beds, meadows, acacia forests, baobabs , thorny bushes and sulphurous hot springs.
It is the idyllic place for bird watching, more than 450 species have been cataloged, in it, in a day of safari you can get to observe about 100 different species, among them, pink flamingos, especially during migration time; pelicans, cormorants, storks etc …
In addition, it is home to all three species of big cats and is famous throughout the world for its population of tree-climbing lions.
