Located in the Kilimanjaro Region, Moshi is a city in Tanzania, home to the Chagga and Maasai tribes.

Moshi was originally simply a German military camp but over time it became a small city, especially because it had a train station and a lot of coffee shops in the area.

It is a comfortable stop for many of the tourists who want to climb Kilimanjaro, it serves as a base for many expeditions to this, which is why many climbers stay in nearby hotels and employ residents of the city as guides, porters and cooks. In fact, Moshi is currently the site of the rapidly growing Kilimanjaro Marathon in popularity, along with various cultural tourism programs that run along the lower slopes of the Kilimanjaro.

On our tours of 3 major national parks in Tanzania, we offer you the possibility to visit this and other attractions in Tanzania.
