Africa, it’s too dangerous
It is true that countries such as South Sudan, Somalia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Central African Republic are on the list of the most dangerous countries in the world. However, the latest Global Peace Index places Mauritius (ahead of Spain), Botswana, Madagascar or Zambia among the 40 most peaceful countries in the world.
Africans do not have access to modern technology
Did you know that people in Kenya are 4 times more likely to have a cell phone than access to a bathroom or latrine? In 2013, 80% of Africans already had access to a cell phone.
