Situated on the delicious South African Wine Trail, Stellenbosch is internationally recognized for its beautiful surroundings, wine estates, sidewalk cafes, restaurants, quality wines, historic buildings and its famous university.

Today Stellenbosch together with Paarl and Franschhoek form the largest wine region in the country. And, in the case of this city of oak groves, it is surrounded by more than 100 wineries, most of them open to the public; in fact, it is considered the vineyard capital of South Africa.
