The importance of choosing the place and time to go on a safari in Africa
The best countries to do a safari are the classics of Kenya and Tanzania, in the east of the African continent. The number of companies doing tours there is huge and the possibilities are unimaginable.
The type of savannah landscape of the Masai Mara or the Serengeti is ideal for seeing animals more easily, given its sparse vegetation. The negative in this case is that there is too high a number of tourists.
Meanwhile, in southern Africa we have South Africa with the Kruger as the highest emblem or Botswana with the Okavango Delta, even the Chobe National Park as the best natural resources (and less traveled).
We do not forget Namibia and the Etosha National Park and the great infrastructures of this country.
On the other hand, Uganda, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Zambia or even Swaziland or Mozambique are countries to consider for nature trips.
In the case of Uganda or Rwanda, there is also the attractive possibility of combining a regular safari with a trek to go looking for the last mountain gorillas in the Virunga mountains, as well as see chimpanzees in the wild, an extremely endangered species today.
