The places where safaris are done are natural parks with wild animals, they are not a zoo. So no one guarantees that you can see animals up close, find moments like a lion hunting or that you can see a leopard or a rhinoceros.
And it is that in Africa the animals are the ones who rule, so you will have to see them from the car and carefully. It is what we call safari.
To be able to see animals it is highly recommended to bring binoculars, if possible with at least 8x magnification. If you want to take pictures, a telephoto lens would also be recommended.
oh! And it is also very important to be silent, respect the animals’ space and not disturb them. We recommend not going off the paths or getting too close. Be very careful, especially with elephants and large animals.
Now, to the important thing, what animals will you be able to see on a game drive through Africa? :
It is very likely that you will be able to see, up close, lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, rhinos, antelopes, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, crocodiles, hippos, or hyenas, among many others.
As these are wild animals, which are in their natural habitat, it is not possible to guarantee that you will see all the animals on your Kenya safari. However, it is very likely that you will be able to see, up close, lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, rhinos, antelopes, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, crocodiles, hippos, or hyenas, among many others.
An unrepeatable opportunity to learn from animals, to observe their behavior, their ways of relating, etc. It is a special experience, which leaves no one indifferent.
